This topology ensures fast and precise response to transients, without amplification running out of steam. A subwoofer can be added for a 2.1 configuration, with independent adjustment of the high-pass and low-pass filter cutoff frequencies, as well as a ±15 dB level adjustment.
Unrestricted music source
The MODEL M1 uses the Marantz Current Feedback architecture. This topology ensures fast and precise response to transients, without amplification running out of steam. A subwoofer can be added for a 2.1 configuration, with independent adjustment of the high-pass and low-pass filter cutoff frequencies, as well as a ±15 dB level adjustment. The amplification stage is based on an oversized toroidal transformer power supply, capable of instantly supplying high current. This allows it to respond without batting an eyelid to the strong dynamic variations of the musical signal. The preamplification and amplification sections are separate and use discrete components.
User interface and control
The Marantz Model M1 is controlled primarily via the HEOS mobile app, available for iOS and Android. This app allows you to manage the various music sources, adjust audio settings and configure the multiroom system. It is also possible to use the various music interfaces such as Deezer, Tidal, Tunein and several others without having to use the Heos Home interface.
