Founded in 1987, Totem Acoustic has a rich history in producing handcrafted loudspeakers in Montreal, Quebec. Totem Acoustic's KIN "sub-brand" was launched in 2014, born out of a desire to engage a wider audience by offering affordable solutions for today's audio devices. Ten years later, KIN has grown into a full-fledged speaker series, including both powered and passive Bluetooth speakers, a soundbar, subwoofers and a built-in amplifier/DAC with Bluetooth aptxTM HD and a phono stage for certain models. Totem DNA abounds in KIN, allowing for easy placement while delivering a realistic sound experience in any application, whether for music, movies or games, etc. Ultimately, the Totem and KIN models can integrate seamlessly into virtually any environment.

Equipped with Bluetooth and aptx HD for instant wireless streaming. Analog and digital inputs allow you to connect a variety of sources; from classic turntables to the latest gaming consoles. Totem recognizes the challenge that certain sources and/or recordings create and that is why we equipped the NEW KIN AMP with bass and treble controls, easily accessible from the remote, allowing the listener to personalize their sound.

Amp In/Connecting a streamer

The AMP IN input bypasses the internal preamplifier, so features such as volume and source selection will not work. This makes it easier to connect and operate external streaming components. This is a 3.5mm jack, so if the streamer is not equipped with the same output, use the appropriate adapter if necessary. Once connected, the amp will be controlled by the connected device.
