Totem Acoustic's KIN "sub-brand" was launched in 2014, born from a desire to engage a wider audience by offering affordable solutions for today's audio devices. Ten years later, KIN has grown into a full-fledged speaker series, including both powered Bluetooth speakers and passive speakers, a soundbar, subwoofers and a built-in amplifier/DAC with Bluetooth aptx HD and a phono stage for certain models. Features

The 200-watt RMS pure digital amplification uses no DSP, preserving the phase linearity responsible for the KIN Play Tower's holographic soundstage. The right speaker houses the amplifier and I/O. Connecting the right speaker to the left is done with the supplied 12-foot speaker cable (the left speaker being the slave). Up front for the left and right speaker is a one-inch titanium dome tweeter with a shield and two 5.25-inch hybrid woofers.

Bluetooth 5.0 aptX HD

Bluetooth 5.0 aptX HD technology allows high-resolution simultaneous streaming from one device to two pairs of KIN Play Towers, or a KIN Play soundbar. You can choose the same audio content for the entire house to create a festive atmosphere, or completely different tracks to create distinct sound zones.

Amp In/Connecting a streamer

The AMP IN input bypasses the internal preamplifier, so features such as volume and source selection will not work. This makes it easier to connect and operate external streaming components. This is a 3.5mm jack, so if the streamer is not equipped with the same output, use the appropriate adapter if necessary. Once connected, the amp will be controlled by the connected device.
