Its complex cabinet geometry has masterfully given this dynamic, multi-driver speaker “Totem Great” sound. A completely unique 4-way speaker system, the Wind is synonymous with flexibility and truly complete expressiveness. The multiple mediums allow an incredible amount of informative musical material to easily transpire into the space. Features
Handmade crossovers
Totem crossovers don't require a lot of parts due to the synergy between our custom drivers, but the components are the best in the world. Our crossovers are not built on PCBs because the laminated conductor traces are weak and inconsistent. Instead, they are attached to a thin piece of fiberboard or insulated polymers and the components are mechanically crimped together because it simply sounds better. When we need to solder, we choose WBT silver solder, the purest in the industry.
Soundproofing
Machined from solid aluminum, the unique geometric shape breaks up surface standing waves and controls surface resonance while acoustically dissociating the driver. Can be used with or without ball bearings, depending on surface. It offers improved bass response and imaging.
