Polk Reserve R300

Polk's newly patented X-Port technology
Polk incorporates an Eigentone filter (ETF) for distortion-free bass. It consists of closed-pipe absorbers specially designed to capture and remove the distortions of conventional speakers. Thanks to X-Port technology, the upper bass and midrange exhibit no resonance from the port or cabinet, for smooth, detailed sound.
Turbine Membrane
Polk developed the Turbine membrane specifically for its high-end products to ensure natural reproduction of the midrange, to which human ears are particularly sensitive. The Turbine membrane combines Polk's proprietary foam core and Turbine-style molded geometry, which significantly increases stiffness and damping without adding additional mass.
