The NEW V2 drivers (woofers) are a dramatic step forward and a serious transformation of the popular 7-inch Torrent. Evolved and meticulously developed over the last 10 years at Totem. The Torrent system remains exclusive to Totem, developed in Canada with knowledge and pride! Externally visible changes to the 7-inch Torrent woofer are a slightly larger dust cap, rerouted daisy-chains, and additional damping, making it less obstructive and providing improved midrange control with better bass extension. The Fire V2 now uses a different crossover in the tweeter section as well as a different internal bass control design. The image is also larger and more 3D than before, extending well beyond the physical location of each speaker. The NEW Element Fire V2, compared to its predecessor, is easier to fly and its placement is more flexible. It is now the most realistic and complete bi-directional bookshelf monitor model, which will effortlessly exceed the performance of many similarly priced and more expensive towers. This monitor can even be used for mastering recordings thanks to its incredible accuracy across its entire frequency response spectrum, as well as its colossal clarity and speed. The V2 version of the ELEMENT Fire simply draws you into the music without any confusion.

Torrent Drivers

Hand-assembled Torrent drivers feature precision-machined craftsmanship and revolutionary magnetic technology. The exclusive magnetic design keeps the voice coil permanently immersed in the magnetic field for absolute and instantaneous control of its every reaction. These woofers have such a wide, flat response that they require absolutely no active or passive crossover components. This radical technology delivers seamless information and energy flow for substantial benefits in clarity, phase accuracy, and on- and off-axis keystroke precision.

RF connectors

The ultimate WBT connectors with the highest conductivity are mounted on an annealed aluminum plate which eliminates any potential resonance. These are the best connectors that will prevent any signal loss and help get the most out of the entire system.
