Founded in 1987, Totem Acoustic has a rich history in producing handcrafted loudspeakers in Montreal, Quebec. Totem Acoustic's KIN "sub-brand" was launched in 2014, born from a desire to engage a wider audience by offering affordable solutions for today's audio devices. Ten years later, KIN has grown into a full-fledged speaker series, including both powered and passive Bluetooth speakers, a soundbar, subwoofers and a built-in amplifier/DAC with Bluetooth aptxTM HD and a phono stage for certain models. Totem DNA abounds in KIN, allowing for easy placement while delivering a realistic sound experience in any application, whether for music, movies or games, etc. Ultimately, the Totem and KIN models can integrate seamlessly into virtually any environment.

Features
The KIN Monitor features a 1" metal alloy dome tweeter based on that of the legendary Rainmaker and also featured in the award-winning KIN PLAY. The custom 4" natural hybrid woofer is made of paper for its acoustic benefits and treated with a polymer to enhance its strength and longevity. The bass is powerful, fast and musical. Nothing is more important to creating Totem's signature sound than phase linearity. KIN Monitor drivers have been carefully selected in due to their harmonious interaction, creating the perfect phase response that provides our three-dimensional, almost holographic soundstage. Micro-ports in each speaker provide the ultimate in fine-tuning, not only perfecting bass response, but by expanding the dimensional soundstage.
